One corner is occupied by the well-equipped kitchen. An archway leads into the bedroom, with comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room. The accommodation is open plan all on one level and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday, including Freeview TV, Bluetooth radio, fridge, cooker, hob and microwave. The market towns of Buxton, Ashbourne and Bakewell are within easy reach, as are the historic houses of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and National Trust properties such as Lyme Park and Sudbury Hall. Wonderful traffic free cycling nearby along the Monsal Trail, High Peak Trail and Tissington Trail (former railway lines), with cycle hire avaialble. Festivals, carnivals and well dressings take place throughout the area in the summer. Manchester, Sheffield and Derby all less than 0ne hour away.
