Details

Rosewood Cottage which sleeps six is situated in the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands one mile from the Peak District. The cottage, which is all on the ground floor, could be helpful to the less able. It is a tastefully converted shippon which housed twenty dairy cows in years gone by. There is a lounge, dining room, kitchen, shower room and three bedrooms - two doubles, one with four poster and one twin.

There is a play area and a field available for ball games and for guests to walk their dogs which are accepted by prior arrangement. A private patio is at the rear of the cottage overlooking the countryside.

Information is provided on places to visit such as Alton Towers, The Potteries with its fine china and The Peak District. Peak Wildlife Park is 1 mile away. Indian restaurant and take away and Country Kitchen Cafe are nearby. Pubs also serving food are 2 miles away. Leek is our market town with outdoor and indoor market stalls on Wednesday and Saturday. Leek has 5 supermarkets and ample antique shops and tea rooms. The larger stores are in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent fifteen miles away.

Whatever your taste you will find plenty to do within a short distance,
