    “If available, book it!”

We were welcomed by Steve who was very warm and welcoming and super helpful with the parking. The property is on a busy main road, with limited [unrestricted] parking in the side roads. But Steve really made sure that we wouldn't be stung with a hefty parking fine.
He showed us to our room, which was a proper family room, with two singles, a king size and room to move round.
The room was clean and fresh, with a large TV, lots of tea/coffee/bottles of water and biscuits. A hair dryer, a fan, additional bedding - a real home from home.
The en-suite was a [good] shower with lots of crisp clean towels and a wide variety of toiletries. The only down side (for me), was that I found that at 6ft 4in the shower cubicle was a little cosy.
I feel really bad about mentioning this, and only do so in the interests of completeness. It is the 'benefit and burden' of it's location - the benefit is that with a main road frontage it is easy to find and is within walking distance of the city. The burden of such a convenient location is parking and noise. The parking has already been detailed and how helpful Steve was - so no more to be said about that. But when you book, just be minded that the front windows are single glazed and as such offer little acoustic protection. Ear plugs are provided, if you are particularly sensitive to the noise, but we found our 6 year old never mentioned it, our 11 year old initially had some problems settling, but soon got to sleep. Whilst my wife and I were startled by the sirens of the odd emergency vehicle, but otherwise had a good nights sleep.
Of course following a good nights sleep, you need a delicious breakfast. Sara looked after us. And oh, what a breakfast! Served in a lovely bright and fresh dining room. We wanted for nothing and the full English was cooked fresh and delicious.
Everything was so nice, we felt guilty for only staying the one night. If you want to be well looked after in spacious, bright, clean rooms and start your day with a sumptuous breakfast. Then don't hesitate to book in. Enjoy your stay!
